I had always wanted a sister and somehow I got one. Not my real sister but she surely felt like one. I can still remember her face when I saw her for the first time. She had big, bright eyes, small glasses barely covering them, and army-cut hair, which made her look incredibly bold. Apparently, her eyes spoke in volumes. Her hair reflected her fierce and fearless nature and her words reflected her ambitions. In the years that followed, I got to know her well. She kind of completed that missing piece of the puzzle in me.

The comfort she gave me during my highest and lowest moments was overwhelming. Although she was several years younger than me, her maturity was beyond my understanding. She had a unique way of looking at things objectively. She even questioned some of the decisions made for me by the adult members of the family, and today we realize that she was right!

I have no contact with her today but I know there will always be a locked partition for you in here <3, I can say proudly that the time I spent with her was joyful. I laugh when I remember the moments we shared. Maybe that’s all the time I was owed for this life.

Hey “Bhishma” I bow to you with utmost respect.
