Nimitt
I heard this word from my mom for the very first time. There is a writer with the same name which is her favourite. And the name Nimitt is also very inspiring and relieving. Relieving in the sense, that nothing is in our control and believing in “it was written (maktoob)” so the idea itself is relieving.
Nimitt means reason, cause: to be honest both my parents kind of belived in this. They say we are marely a ‘Nimitt’, otherwise it’s all written. We can not control it. we can just let it pass though it? and I always wondered “let what pass though us?”. He says, if someone came to you for help, it was written on your name, and you were Nimitt to help him. so sometimes we need to listen to the signs this universe is giving us to be a Nimitt in someone else’s story.
The idea is so ordinary but so powerful, it takes things out of your hands for which you are not in control, it’s a mare delegation. We just need to approve it, accept it and be Nimitt for it.
